If you still did not resolve your problem try this viewtopic.php?f=3&t=642 busratio type it in the bootloader. that what I had to do to boot to the instalation screen! hope it helpes. and try booting -x -v -f or -x -v.

Hey, you have to have newest bootloader, cause sometimes bootloader show incorrect indication, and its important to run in 64bit because 32bit only supports 4gb ram, to check that go to About this mac then go to more info... and go down the colon on the left press on softwere and there should be...
