Specs:
i5-7200u @ ~ 2.7GHz , 4GB ram
Intel HD620 ( working with patches & fakepciid )
Realtek ALC255 ( working with patched appleHDA)
Brightness ( Working using the new method )
Enthernet ( tutorial kext)
Problems:
It starts lagging very very much, I can't even open activity monitor anymore...
I found this https://github.com/vit9696/AppleALC/issues/145 , seems like the patch was broken from the first time, I'll try this fix and come back with a reply
if i use this patcher http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/496-applehda-patcher ( wich is using mirone's patches ) AGFLowPowerState is not specified but still I do not have any audio device
aDummyHDA.kext + clover patches + dsdt patches method is giving me the same results.. what is...
Then my kext is the problem? I can't find any working patched applehda for CX20756, my audio is fine with voodohda but I need to use patched applehda for better quality
What I've done so far:
- using patched applehda CX20756 (I used linux to detect my codec id) (patched with apple hda patcher) (kext is loading)
- layout-id 3 DSDT patch (I checked applehda.kext and layout-id 3 the one is requested)
- HPET/IQR DSDT patch
My problem:
- No audio device detected...
I double checked this time and it was layout-id 3 but I still don't have any audio device... I checket with linux to see if I'm patching the right audio codec and it's ok... I don't understand what I'm doing wrong
here are the 'Problem Reporting' files you requested.. layout-ID is set to 8 now ( wich is the one my patch uses ) but still no audio device and dpcimanager shows me 2 audio devices.. why?
