    [Guide] Intel Skylake NUC6 (and Skull Canyon) using Clover UEFI (NUC6i5SYK, NUC6i7KYK, etc)

    Thanks for the guide. Everything worked perfectly on my Skull Canyon except for one thing, after I ran your post-install scripts and rebooted from SSD, I lost the sensors (something went wrong with the optional FakeSMC kexts I'm assuming). I ended up re-installing and now I'm booting from USB...

    panic in IONVMeFamily High Sierra 10.13.x

    Is it possible to patch High Sierra to allow support for this NVMe device? I need to decide if I'm returning it or not. Thanks.

    panic in IONVMeFamily High Sierra 10.13.x

    I got frustrated and ended up changing things... I did start with your list and I was going back to it eventually. I don't have another NVMe device at the moment but I should probably fix that. I saw others had luck with the 900p so I figured the 32GB cut-down version would work.

    panic in IONVMeFamily High Sierra 10.13.x

    Unfortunately, the OsxAptioFixDrv and OsxAptioFix2Drv won't boot with my MSI board, seems to be a pattern on the forum. Neither will AptioMemoryFix.efi. However my NUC 6i7KYK (following your guide) does boot with AptioMemoryFix.efi and then I get the same panic. Files attached.

    panic in IONVMeFamily High Sierra 10.13.x

    I just did fresh High Sierra install and I'm having a similar issue on two different computers when I plug in my new Optane 32GB drive and try to boot. IONVMeFamily kernel panic. When I remove it no issue. AptioMemoryFix.efi doesn't work on my MSI x99 board, using OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi...

    Intel Optane?

    Are you running High Sierra? I get a IONVMeFamily kernel panic every time I try to boot with my Optane 32GB plugged in. As soon as I remove it, it boots fine.

    External Raid 5 --> eSata --> Sata3 --> Optane?

    I just pulled the trigger on a 32GB Optane stick for the High Sierra re-install I've been putting off. I'll let you all know how it goes with Fusion.

    External Raid 5 --> eSata --> Sata3 --> Optane?

    The Optane memory stick is just an NVME drive like any other. The intel driver does productized caching stuff. Instead of using the Intel software (which doesn't exists for MacOS) you can use the built-in Fusion volume option and get a very similar result.

    External Raid 5 --> eSata --> Sata3 --> Optane?

    You can use Optane as your fast tier for a Fusion volume. Although I'm not sure if Fusion volumes support external enclosures.

    Some problems with MSI X99A SLI PLUS 10.11.3

    How did you guys fix audio? I used Toleda's guide to install ALC892 drivers, the output devices show up in System Preference/Sound and the mic works but there is no sound coming out of the speakers... I mostly fixed my booting issues by using the file below instead of the canned osxaptiofix and...
