Same here. I found that was not possible to leave unallocated space using DISK UTILITY GUI so I used from command line: diskutil resizeVolume disk1s2 70GB disk1s2 was my os x installation partition. After that I was able to create the partition and install normally from windows installation...

I agree that would be better, but unfortunately its not an option because I have 5 pcs and SSD is expensive here

How would you make a dual boot mac/windows on the same HD, different partitions? I have successfully installed el capitan following this tutorial and then tried to install windows using bootcamp but I had a lot of problems. I guess bootcamp is not the best option for this?
