With the newest Version from Github it works without removing the GPUSensors.kext.
Seems to be a problem with the gup sensor readings for certain OC Nvidia 6XX cards.
This is easy to solve:
go into S/l/E and then into the package FakeSMC.kext and look for GPUSensors.kext. Delete the GPUSensors.kext and HWSensors or istatMenu will work again. You will be missing the GPU sensors then but beside this, everything else works for me.

There are generally problems with Kepler Graphics (New Nvidia GT670) and the FakeSMC.kext (or to be more precise with the GPUSensor.kext inside it). If I install this one on my machine with the Gigabyte Nvidia 670 2GB OC card inside, it will freeze my computer...
Okay, I rechecked the PSU, seems to be sufficient.
I guess there is also plenty of headroom as power unit manufacturers build these calculators ;-).
