now use AppleHDA.kext from first post to have sound GTX760m will not work, U have in this post guide how RehabMan helped me to turn off nVidia let me know if U have solved sound

if U have ALC282 (like I have) then U should edit DSDT and put layout-id=3 not 1 and add proper kext, try to use my kext and change DSDT layout-id to 3 then U should have working sound, I have it like that and no problem at all

maybe I asked wrong did U have working sound before doing this kext replacement? or U have NO sound at all?

download 10.9.2 update http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1725 use latest version of Pacifist from https://www.charlessoft.com/ extract and replace with Kext Utility or similar and enjoy :)

I have solve this problem with restoring OLD kext from 10.9.2 and working fine other solution didn't find LP

I had similar problems, but 10.9.3 have mixed up framebuffers so just get vanila (Azul and Capri) 10.9.1 or 10.9.2 and replace them, update kext cache and reboot, this should fix it

Having same issue, but when booting once in all good and after few sec change to some transparent/glitched menu tried turn off transparent menu but then even worse, anygot same situation??? Havin HD4600 and on 10.9.2 this all was ok...have some1 maybe backuped up intel kexts so can replace????

I have switched to Clover (cause can't get sleep working on Chameleon/Chimera) and it's much much faster so I can send U my config file for chameleon or Clover and which SMBios do U use?
