    Hey Rob It works now, however only via DVI - since my new Monitor only has HDMI, any idea how I convince Yosemite to also accept HDMI? Otherwise I will buy a HDMI-DVI adapter... thx Cruchot

    you got me wrong - the missing volumes in the boot menu was already fixed with the USB boot, no issue there anymore. What I wanted to understand with my last post was why all volumes were hidden with the settings I made posted in the screenshots... (2 entries hidden, 3 entries in bootloader...
