    gah. damn. i dont have a backup of the disk :( i have most of the data backed up, but not the actual boot volume. any ideas to salvage the drive or to solve this problem without a fresh install and new drive?

    You can just unmount via HD via Disk Utility. Not the end of the world. Not exactly Hot-Swappable, but being un-mountable is great, considering it's a Hackintosh! My eSATA Drives will only show up if mounted before POST before Chameleon... they show up as internal drives with the JMicron eSATA...

    Did you need to install any add'l drivers or anything to get working? Or Just Plug and Play. I have a Gigabyte X58-UD3R with JMicron eSATA drivers... do these do anything? or is PCI totally seperate? Thanks!
