I have an Asus Strix GTX 970 4GB and I tried the Bruce X benchmark on my machine. The time I got was about 65 seconds. I unchecked "background rendering" & I'm pretty sure I did everything the instructions said. Other people seem to be getting less than half that time. Am I doing something wrong?
I think I'm using the attached driver. I'm not sure how to determine what trackpad I'm using, but it might not be the default one that came with the X555L since it's a refurb.
Thanks, that did it. One more question -- can anything be done about my touchpad? I'm still experiencing the problem where every time I click something once, it automatically double-clicks.
I used Kext Wizard to install FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext. I then copied config_HD4600_4400_4200.plist to EFI/Clover, renamed it to config.plist and rebooted. Now the only boot options are the ones for Windows 7. There's no choice anymore for El Capitan.
