boot with -v (in iBoot) and then tell us what line it hangs on. Also try running in safe mode -x

download rBoot and burn it to a dvd/cd and boot from that, see if your trackpad/keyboard (or usb keyboard/mouse) work. then download the kexts for them online somewhere (Or download them in windows and transfer them over through usb)

Well, i did what i said i was gonna do. AND IT WORKED! FULL GESTURE SUPPORT! Its even regocnised as a track pad! I will post a picture when i get wifi working as using phone to post this!

It hangs before you get to the Chameleon screen? Or the disk just stops spinning when your booting up? Have you left it to see if the disk restarts spinning? Try running the installer in -v and see where you get stuck.

Ok then, I want to see if you can boot into snow leopard with iboot. Run -v again and if it stops, tell me where :)

the gtx 570 isnt supported in snow leopard, you will have to use lion to get full res etc. Burn it to a dvd instead of using the usb stick and see if you get any further.

Oh, juankar, for your brightness issue, try to find a third party adjuster and see if that helps :)

hi guys, got some kexts from the install dvd, try them out and see if ya get gestures :) I put them all in a rar package. These are untested because I havnt had time to test them myself, hopefully should work though!
