Turns out my overclocking is working. 4.5ghz to get that result. the reason it doesnt show is because it kicks in when needed...
Re: Post you GEEKBENCH scores!
hahaha sorry, but I'm all new to this. Googled smbios 3.1, and there barely seems to be any info!
in multi-beast under Customisation>System Definitions>Mac Pro. Use Mac Pro 3.1
Totally my bad smbios is a very poor way to describe what I meant. Oh and I don't...
Re: Post you GEEKBENCH scores!
Try smbios 3.1 it could make a big difference. any reason you didn't use it in the first place? its default with multi beast.
Re: Post you GEEKBENCH scores!
Maybe my over clock is working or maybe you could try different configs from multibeast are you over clocking at all and also my ram is got good timings rather than size. cl8 and its clocked at 1600, also it seems strange that you have 8gb of ram rather than 12...
Re: New Hackingtosh
Your parts are outdated but I'm pretty sure they can work with a lot of work.. Are you looking to upgrade at all.
Also update your sig to include your parts and 4600 series? try be more specific such as 4890 etc.

Do you...
I don't think its the same problem. basically our installs are working perfect except we have two active screens and only 1 real monitor and that real monitor is displaying the second screen which at system boot holds nothing of interest.
I second this thought, I had problem took me days to realize what was wrong... Like you said blank installer screen. So I tried using Hdmi port instead of DVI. no dice. Don't have a display port adaptor to try but Im very confident thats the problem.
Anyone with this problem can go through...
Try entering GraphicsEnabler=No in chameleon and then boot the installer partition. I had this exact problem and so have a few others. It seems that lion recognizes some ports on various graphics as active displays, even if where not using them. once you get lion up and running you need to...
