does generating EDID overide will solve my problem making external monitor(1080P) as primary display(booting probook in closed lid). is there a effect using hi res patch in probook 4540s(1080p) when using 1080p external monitor?

i plugged my probook 4540s(upgraded 1080p AUO screen) to external monitor(1080p) via hdmi and decided to use as main monitor while my probook lid is closed (mirroring)..but when i rebooted in my external monitor has a shuttered display after booting apple logo and login screen..what seems to be...

rehabman..you think U430 is the best laptop for hackintosh? what is the max RAm upgrade knowing that it has only 1 slot ram? can it handle 16GB ddr3L?what is your recommendation? buy 2nd hand U430 or buy newer gen laptop that same support like your U430?

my resolution on clover boot is messed up when i configure it on plist 1080p res...installed csmvid efi..i have auo v4..what setting will i adjust to ahave 1080p in clover boot boot menu?

huhuhu..i just imitate your Probook 4540s setup and luckily bought a prestine condition....do you highly recommend lenovo u430 over probook versions...hope to find a bargain lenovo u430 instead i end up in probook...
