I changed the DummyBackEnd to 1 and my fans turned off completely. That is fine for idle, but when rendering I would assume they need to be running. I have an ASUS Strix vega 64. Do your fans run at all when DummyBackend is 1?
I too had this question. After unzipping the download, I get Contents/MacOS/NvidiaGraphicsFixup (the unix file no extension). Do I add .kext to this file? Do I move this file over to Clover without editing the name? (all other kexts are .kext). Did you ever figure this out?
I have had issues:
Tried the update via the app store. Booted into Clover and selected "macos install" in verbose mode. Went for few minutes and then stalled with blank screen. I can still boot into "macos" in clover and 10.13.2 boots and works, but it is the old build number. App store says...
