I followed the instructions in the Mountain Lion Installation Guide, formatting the USB stick as a single partition Master Boot Record in Mac OS X Extended (Journaled) format. When I try to install UniBeast on the stick, it errors out saying the installation failed. Here are the relevant lines...
CUDA uses the cores on the GPU for doing computation. It can result in massive speed-up for tasks that can be chunked down into many smaller tasks running in parallel. Some of the Adobe software suites take advantage of this, for example.
If the drive you're buying is labelled "OEM Version" or "Bare Drive" then no. Otherwise yes.
The CPU you buy will come with a cooler. If you aren't planning on overclocking it will be fine. Otherwise you can look into one of the many aftermarket CPU coolers available.
What Stork and jester969 said. I already spend too much time providing tech support to my parents on Apple Macs. I can't imagine dealing with the increased level of support required for Hackintosh. :wtf:
That's the Fermi version of the GT 630—basically a rebadge of the GT 440—so it should be fine.
The confusion comes because there's also an OEM GT 630 that's Kepler (GK107) based.

Looks like NCIX have updated their ETA on this case from "mid-June" to "06/19/2012" (aka "tomorrow"). Here's hoping the white one I preordered ships within the week. :thumbup:
