    Just Can't Get This To Work: (GA-Z170X-UD5 | i7 6700 | GeForce GTX 1060 6GB SC)

CMN thank you so much for your insightful reply and my apologies for not writing back sooner. I've gotten so frustrated with this current Hackintosh that I got burned out for awhile. Today I decided to jump back in. I erased my SSD and USB stick and basically approached this from scratch. I made...

    Just Can't Get This To Work: (GA-Z170X-UD5 | i7 6700 | GeForce GTX 1060 6GB SC)

Ok... that might be a slight exaggeration. I can get it to work on Sierra 10.12.5. I had this up and running (Nvidia web drivers, USB 3 and sound) iMessage, face time - no joy. I made a mistake and tried to update to High Sierra, which was a complete failure. I could never get the Nvidia drivers...

    Clover Config question

Hello all! This is likely due to my ignorance, but in the attached screenshot you can see the drive I circled in yellow. Shouldn't this be the drive that I want to mount in Clover Configurator? My thought is because it the hard drive isn't that where all the magic happens? (I know I don't know...

Update Directly to macOS High Sierra

In-N-Out I also have the same motherboard as you. I'm running sierra currently. I'm also somewhat a newbie in this but willing to learn. I'd like to ask the following questions: 1) Where did you get the realtekALC.kext and USBInjectAll.kext? (I've searched, maybe poorly, but I can't find them)...

    Stuck here: Please help GA-EP45-UD3P

Thanks for the response clipper! I don't have an internal USB reader installed. Currently the only USB device plugged in is my Apple keyboard, and a logitech wireless mouse, that could be causing some trouble. I'll try it out and see.

My build is stuck here (See screenshot) I wasn't able to load Mavericks either but bought a new video card as I read that helped. I was able to run Mountain Line fine. Any help would be great. Thanks,
