Luxmark OpenCL Benchmark Updated to 2.1 for OS X 10.9

I knew my system was dated, but I was expecting better scores. Scene = Sala GPU+CPU = 632  GPU Only = 320  CPU Only = 305  System Specs: CPU = Intel I7 950 @ 3.07 Ghz GPU = GTX 650 Ti RAM = 8GB MOBO = ASUS GENE III Kinda bizarre that OpenCL would produce such low...

How to force other display ports?

Well, I think my attempts at getting HDMI to work are pointless. In Win8.1, the nVidia Control Panel claims my display is not HDCP compliant and because of this I don't think I'll get to use HDMI in OSX. :bummed:

Installed DSDT for ASUS GENE III, OSX won't boot now

I found a "tested" DSDT from this site for my ASUS GENE III MOBO. Followed the instructions, rebooted and now it hangs at the gray Apple Logo screen. Doesn't even try to go further. Is there a way to reverse this or will I have to reinstall? Thanks!

How to force other display ports?

I have a GTX 650 TI for my customac. Currently, the only way I can get the display working is by using the DVI to VGA adapter conntected to VGA port on monitor. Problem is, in order to get edge-to-edge viewing, I have to use 1920x1080x32@75 when native is @60Hz. I am hoping using my DVI to HDMI...

    Help for a Noob

To resolve your first issue, you need to have a bootloader installed on the HDD. Otherwise, you will have to use the USB stick to boot. Once you get the bootloader installed, then search in this forum for alternate nVidia Drivers for OSX 10.9.4. Install those along with the most recent CUDA...

    GTX 770 Graphics low resolution

Wish I could get the HDMI port on my GTX 650 TI to work. It'll work through boot up to the gray apple screen and then I lose the signal. For now, I have to use DVI -> VGA. Samsung monitor doesn't have a DVI port. Also, my resolution is at 1920x1080x32@75. If I run at 60Hz, I don't get edge to...

VGA Monitors Owners need serious help here !

I had a lot of problems with my VGA LED monitor. Mainly getting OSX to see true 1080p resolutions. I got close once I got the latest nVidia drivers installed, but they were all 4:3 rez. So, I stumbled across this app called SwitchResX and low and behold, I have my 1080p rez! However, I only get...

Cannot use Mouse and Keyboard after installing Mavericks

I had this problem, too, at first. Found out it didn't like me using the front USB ports. Also, try unplugging and replugging them after os boots up. Sometimes, they just don't want to work and rebooting seems to fix the issue. I don't know what the underlying cause is. Hope this helps.

Need help with EVGA GTX 650 Ti Graphics card

Another update I downloaded SwitchResX and got my 1920x1080 to work. However, it has to display at 75Hz for edge to edge viewing. I wasn't getting this at 60Hz for some reason. So now my question is this: how do I get this rez (1920x1080@75) injected into Display preferences? I really want to...

Need help with EVGA GTX 650 Ti Graphics card

Another tidbit of information. It appears my screen is stuck at the same resolution space as the MOBO BIOS. If I increase the rez, the bars on either side of the screen stay the same no matter what. So, even if I were able to achieve 1920x1080, it would not make full use of the screen...

Need help with EVGA GTX 650 Ti Graphics card

Update! I had to reinstall chimera due to being locked out of the plist file and all of a sudden, I have several display resolutions to choose from! However, 1920x1080 is still not available even though it is flagged. So, for now, I have 1600x1200 rez and the overall graphics performance is...

Video goes to sleep after bootloader and other issues

Ok, since this post, I got audio, ethernet, and partial graphics working. I was able to install the latest nvidia web drivers and cuds drivers to get graphics working better. However, I am still unable to achieve 1920x1080 even with the "Graphics Mode" flag. Also, under system info, my video...
