I'm running 10.12 now, and I still don't have wifi and bluetooth. I never went searching for a driver, but as far as I know the native ones don't cover this board. This doesn't really affect me greatly as I have wired ethernet and peripherals.
For those of you who still have issues. I removed all my folders and put just my FakeSMC.kext in the "Other" folder. I booted with -v nv_disable rootless=0 AND I had to select "Boot with injected kext" from the clover screen to get FakeSMC to be used, otherwise it didn't work. Right now my...
I'm still hitting the same issue. Been trying different config combos, but non seem to be working. Guess I'm sticking with 10.10.5 until I can make a 10.11 working USB. I hate having to clean install, would be nice if the update worked :/
I've tried this guide, and Tony's, and I keep getting "Service exited with abnormal code: 255". I have tried -v and nv_disable =1 with rootless=0, no use. Not sure what else I need. Any pointers out there?
So far I keep getting "System service exited with abnormal code: 255" I have added the RtVariables, and all I have in my config is my FakeSMC.kext. My Model ID is set to iMac 14,2. Anyone able to point me in the right direction here?
Thanks Stork! I'll try that, though I may just nuke it because I put myself in a pickle. I forgot that Chimera is not for UEFI systems if you want to dual boot Windows, and I have a UEFI Windows installation (Win 10). Although I have run the install and such, Clover is not working. I actually...
Gave that a shot, followed this guide though: http://www.tonymacx86.com/general-help/152329-os-x-wont-start-without-uni-multibeast-usb-heres-solution.html
Seems to work. Thanks!
Ok, took me about a day, but I finally figured this out!
Chimera Method
1. Download and create a Unibeast installer for Yosemite
2. Reset your UEFI bios to default settings. Make sure Vt-D is disabled, and that CSM is enabled with all options set to legacy only.
3. Boot into your USB by...
Hey all!
So I finally got my setup working almost 100% (just missing sleep at this point it would seem). My specs are:
ASRock H97m-itx/ac
8GB Ram
i5 4690k
Asus 970 mini 4gb
It took me a while to get it booting, but I can boot consistently with my USB device plugged in as my boot loader...
Well that is unfortunate. I will take your suggestion. Other than that, is it possible it is related to DSDT or anything else? Otherwise, I will just invest in a PS/2 to USB converter. also, I will updated this post with my results.
EDIT: On first reboot, it seems to be working. Will reboot...
Update: It only worked on one reboot last night. This morning it KP'ed without booting verbose. Here is my system log:
Dec 25 10:15:32 localhost kernel[0]: ApplePS2Controller::start entered...
Dec 25 10:15:32 localhost kernel[0]: ApplePS2Controller: initial commandByte = 47

Yup, can verify they are removed ( double checked in Kext wizard ). Could it have to do with the fact that I am using a self created fusion drive? I mean, it is installed to /S/L/E, which shouldn't be a problem. It isn't suppose to be installed to /E/E is it?
Thanks. I followed his installation instructions ( I installed his kext to /S/E and the daemon to /usr/bin, as well as the plist to the proper place), but I am having the same problem. Did I do something wrong?
Thanks again for helping me out.
