May be helpful for you, But I believe that USB 3.0 interferes with the frequency that comes off the USB 5.0Ghz being incompatible for USB 3.0.. 2.4Ghz and 5.0ghz will work fine through USB 2.0, hope this helps and please correct me if I am wrong, B- Bennith
