Hackintosh MY SERVER (Making a Desktop / Work Station) Proliant ML350 G6

So I recently picked up a server that's a couple years old. For $100. And it packs a punch! It is an 8 core beast, sporting two E5520 Xeon processors clocking in at 2.27 GHz... 8 cores, 16 threads! 32 GB of DDR 3 memory. And I popped in a discrete Geforce GT 430. This fits in the PCIe 8x slot...

    Perfect budget setup?

My grandmother is always having computer issues. She uses an iPhone 5, and a newer iPad. The desktop PC basically only comes into the picture as a way to put music onto those devices, sync up photos, and to do email / check the weather. Basic stuff. Right now she has a Dell that came with...

Popped my hackintosh drive and stuck it in a USB dock. Booted it on my MacBook Pro, did the USB rollback with multi beast and now I'm good to go

    hackintosh as primary desktop?

As soon as I solve my little USB issue and sleep issue I'll be using my hackintosh as my main box. Same amount of RAM as my macbook pro, but about to go for 4 gigs to 8 gigs, and I'm thinking that the 2.5 GHz Quad Core i Series CPU is a good deal faster than the MBP's C2D 2.4.

Mouse and Keyboard don't work after update to 10.6.6

My system was running awesome... everything was working till I did the 10.6.6 update. I boot to the desktop no problem, if I plug in a USB drive it shows up, etc. My apple mouse and keyboard no longer work in OS X, nor will a generic USB set or PS2 keyboard. I now realize after reading I should...
