Mac OS X 10.7.2 Update - The Official Thread (Desktops)

for those who had to switch from efi strings to NVEnaber to fix graphic using this method, just keep in mind possible issues with app store and icloud log in (in case you applied combined efi string for graphics and ethernet earlier). i generated efi string for ethernet only to fix log in...

LION 10.7 not showing CPU temp anymore under iStat

guys, try installing FakeSMC Plugins from MultiBeast. It installs the following FakeSMC plugins to allow software access to motherboard hardware monitors: ACPIMonitor.kext, IntelCPUMonitor.kext and SuperIOFamily.kext. My config now enables holy bunch of temp in addition to cpus: ambient...

    No usb on osx lion

actually you don't need internet during lion install, so all manipulations were made after "start using Lion" had been hit. then i copied realtek kext to lion's s/l/e, did the terminal magic, and rebooted. following a link Stork provided, i could see realtek1000sl and Linx2mac's kexts are...

    [SOLVED] RocketRaid 2640x4 don't work

Re: RocketRaid 2640x4 don't work not worth trying as the trick confirmed to be nonwrking by straccio (thanks man) and myself  as for the driver for macos10.6 to be applied - for me it did not work. and moreover the executable part of kext for osx10.6 compiled as universal. the same...

    No usb on osx lion

interesting indeed, for me even more as i'm expiriencing sporadic kernel panic after transmission had been installed. linking to ionetworkingfamily dependencies and 8169ethernet in particular. i use official realtek driver 2.0.6 and started to think usb and ethernet bugs are interlinked...

Pretty simple, indeed. Now reboot and choose to boot from installer again, at chimera menu choose lion partition, boot into it and INSTALL bootloader onto it. As ahero4heor said

No USB or network on GA-P55M-UD2 after Lion upgrade

Update 7/25: I withdraw most of the post as it seems like usb is dead every other time I reboot or even shutdown. Once hard reset with power button, system boots just fine and fully functional. f*&^@ng wierd.
