Here's both my Clover folder and the DSDT I made, if you want to have a butchers. I'm thinking the two USB power problems, your charging, and my device failures, are related due to the changes Apple made to it's USB drivers since El Capitan.

The problem I'm having with USB, that I think a patched DSDT would solve, is that all of my ports are under-powered. I have an app on my phone that shows it's only receiving 360mA from both my USB 2 & 3 ports (front and back), whereas it receives the full 460mA from a mains powered USB 2.0 hub...

Hey dmeadows013. I currently have Mavericks installed on an almost identical system using Chimera. Funnily enough, I think It was your original guide that I followed when I first set it up. Quick question, how much of an improvement in boot time would you say you get using Clover and UEFI booting?

Came here to say the same. It appears to wake up every two hours, although at no set time. Strikes me that a daemon is waking the computer for some reason.

Right, just done some benchmarks using Cinebench and both 3DMark Vantage & 3DMark 11, and there's nothing in it. Each time, either with the NIC in or without, the scores were almost identical. I don't know if the Z77-DS3H is allowing the PCIe x16 to work at full bandwidth regardless of the NIC...

Thanks for the reply. The card just turned up, so I'm going to run a series of benchmarks and see what happens. I'll report back in a while :)
