@Bearfish there is something wrong with the colorprofile what monitor sends with edid. Actually the same problem is with windows if installing the color profile from the included driver CD. Just use srgb profile, that has accurate colors.

Disabled "True Tone" from display settings fixed the pink tint with my Samsung CF791 connected with DisplayPort. Seems the setting affects also the external display if the lid is open. Also sRGB profile needs to be used to fix the blue colours.
