Did you install EasyDSDT or UserDSDT ? Either way, try boot in with these flags: -v DSDT=NO If you can get in with that, your on your way to resolving the issues.

Just to note, I successfully did a system update - supplemental 10.6.8 update - worked like a charm, no troubles at all!

Don't use the Software update from the apple menu, download the 10.6.8 combo update and install that, then run multibeast. Also, instead of re-installing all the time, try to boot from iBoot with flags: -v DSDT=NO That's the mistake I was making - continually re-installing, which takes ages...
