    Asus 1155 Patched BIOS Repository

@Francis: Thanks, I'll try that when I'm bothered :P Does this work with P8P67 Pro too? The only problems I have ATM WITHOUT using a DSDT are no audio and no eSATA (the latter I don't really care about).

    Asus 1155 Patched BIOS Repository

Does anyone know how to downgrade the custom 3xxx BIOSes for the P8P67 boards? I'm trying to downgrade it using this method here but it keeps telling me my BIOS isn't supported using the tool?

    Asus 1155 Patched BIOS Repository

Ok here's my verdict on the new modified (speedstepper patched) 3207 BIOS for the P8P67 Pro Rev. 3.0. 1.) Audio does not work correctly. Toleda's patched kext, HDA rollback, and the other options in MultiBeast all do not work. 2.) Wake on sleep does not work. Sleep itself works, but upon waking...

Optimized AppleHDA for Realtek ALC 892 on Lion - Update

Yep my audio is the main thing that's not working for my after updating to 3207 BIOS on my P8P67 Pro Rev. 3.0 Wake on sleep and eSATA are the only other issues I've been having with the newest BIOS (I'm using the speedstepper patched version). Waiting on a fix :) Thanks for all your hard work...

    Asus 1155 Patched BIOS Repository

Clear your CMOS (i.e. reset your BIOS). To do this either: 1.) Remove the CMOS battery (the little button cell battery on your motherboard) and wait 10 seconds and put it back in before booting up your system. 2.) Use the jumper (which pins to "jump" depend on your board) and wait 10 seconds...

Thanks! :D Any chance for a DSDT (with eSATA and audio edits) for P8P67 Pro Rev. 3.0?

Mac OS X 10.7.2 Update - The Official Thread (Desktops)

Re: Mac OS X 10.7.2 Update - The Official Thread Good to hear! Have you tried SleepEnabler.kext? It worked for me before, but I got native sleep working through patching DSDT and AICPUPM.kext.

Mac OS X 10.7.2 Update - The Official Thread (Desktops)

Re: Mac OS X 10.7.2 Update - The Official Thread Yes it is 100% safe. I skipped 10.7.1 and went directly to 10.7.2 when the beta was first released to devs. It seems like everyone is downloading slow. Apple's server is taking a huge hit from all of the demand from iOS 5 and 10.7.2 it seems.

Mac OS X 10.7.2 Update - The Official Thread (Desktops)

Re: Mac OS X 10.7.2 Update - The Official Thread AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext is what it is. Did you have a patch your AICPUPM.kext or replace it in S/L/E? If not, then don't worry about it. Also, if you are using NullCPUPowerManagment.kext (aka NCPUPM.kext), then you don't need to worry...

Mac OS X 10.7.2 Update - The Official Thread (Desktops)

Re: Mac OS X 10.7.2 Update - The Official Thread Been rocking 10.7.2 since its first inception and I have had no trouble with it whatsoever. The GM released last week is the same as this public release in-case anyone is wondering. To install: 1.) Run the combo updater. 2.) Do not restart upon...

Asus Maximum IV GENE-Z Lion Support?

I am planning on purchasing said board and I am wondering if anyone knows of the compatibility of the board with OS X Lion. I am mainly concerned with audio, onboard video via the HDMI port (using a 2600K processor), support for 16GB RAM (4x4GB DDR3-1600), eSATA, USB 3.0, sleep, EIST support...

Everything working perfectly- except for kernel panics

Sweet! Is everything else working fine too? USB 3.0? eSATA? Sleep? CPU Power Management? I have a fully functioning Lion installation ATM on a P8P67 Pro but I just sold my two 6870s so I want to downgrade to mATX with onboard video. Do you know if any of this works? Thanks!

Make Lion Bootable on 4GB USB Drive?

I have a 4GB USB drive and I was wondering how to make a bootable Lion installation disk. I tried with various methods on this site and none of them will fit on the 4GB drive. Any hints?

    Bluetooth and Apple Magic Trackpad

If you are using the onboard Bluetooth on the Asus boards then there in lies your problem. They are quirky at best with the Apple Magic Mouse and Trackpad, but work ok with the Keyboard. I bought a D-Link DBT-122 from eBay for $10 and it was working properly for a while, but now I am having...

    Guide: GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3 + HD-687A-ZDFC (XFX 6870)

What frequency did you try it at? B/c with my P8P67 Pro and EIST enabled if I do 4.2GHz I get the same score as stock 3.4GHz. Without EIST I get the right score in Geekbench. I had to manually edit the .kext to add the correct identifications. It is mainly cosmetic.
