Steam has some games that run on Linux. There is also the Ubuntu store, not sure if that's its official name, and that has a decent selection of games.

I play anything that I can find for mac, Dirt 2, Deus Ex HR, Minecraft, and anything on steam. But I still use windows for anything not built to run on OSX. Oh and I game on Linux a tad to, not much though.

Is anyone else hoping for a 4K resolution 30 inch thunderbolt display?

I've got two Macminis, one i bought second hand, the other I salvaged, a PowerMac G4 in the blue with the revised heat sink that I also salvaged. I have a non working G5 iMac, also salvaged, that needs a psu, and a PowerMac G5 that has issues galore, also salvaged. I think I salvage to much :)

Well, seeing as I am posting this from my new Hackintosh mentioned above, consider the question null and void. :D

I am about to install Lion on the machine I just built, but before I started I wanted to know if I need to take any extra steps as I am using the Apple USB not a usb with the App store installer on it. My build consists of an Ivy 3570k, a gigabyte Z77 UD3H, and a Western Digital 1TB HDD.

Well keep in mind that Apple already has almost all their iOS and iPod stuff in the fall, so I personally don't think they will put more releases then. I think that most of the redesigns will come around the time of Mountain Lion's release.

Are the gains only going to be in integrated graphics speed? If so should I just buy a Sandy Bridge now?

Alright thanks I'll take a look at the Noctua and the 212+. the loudness of coolers is not as big of a concern for me as I am very used to hearing my computer run (I was using a PPC G3 tower for a while, a rather noisy machine)
