the fans stay off until the card gets to 50c temp then the fans come on for a few seconds before turning off, so when non-gaming the card for the most part is quiet.

For me everything works (Facetime, Messages, iCloud, etc.) apart from Sidecar due to the lack of supportEd IGPU.

Have you tried using BIOS version F21 to start with ? I would also start with a min system config, 1 drive, 1 stick of memory and put your RX580 back in unless you have put in the boot argument for the RX6000 series Did you have this board working with a 12th Gen CPU ?

Uploaded Opencore 0.8.5 EFI and added BIOS settings that might help if you get loud coil whine like noise coming from the CPU area (which I seem to be getting now), same settings I used on the Z490 which makes a big difference.

lite video editing at most.. system is so overkill for my use case but I like new stuff & didn't want to spend 2k on a mac studio just incase I want to run Windows native for gaming in the future.

If we use the Intel WiFi / Bluetooth card, for example I have tried the Fenvi AX3000 PCI-E card, should we be able to use a Bluetooth keyboard in the OpenCore bootloader screen ? I know the Intel card has it limitations at the moment just wondered if this is one of them as my Fenvi T919...

If you don’t need it, delete your apple / firmware folder, that should free up enough space up to upgrade. Did the same thing, as I had the same problem.

Works great with just USBPorts.kext and no UIAC.aml files. Thanks for correcting the errors that I had made, not messed around with custom USB port maps for years.
