Yes, but not well. I needed support for WPA2/3-Enterprise / 802.1X for the University network "eduroam", so I had to use AirportItlwm.kext. The problem (ver. 2.0.0) is that after a while, the connection completely drops to 0 and I have to turn on/off the wifi card to regain internet :(
Hi,
I also have 440 g6 laptop, but my wifi card is Intel 9560ngw, but the connector seems that is a little bit different. I googled and found that is called Key E CNVI (not KEY A+E).
Does that mean that this adapter you posted would work for my car or they are mutually compatible?
Here is the...
I tried to use the kext, and without success.
So, I searched on the internet and found that Micron 2200 is not supported. Many people report kernel panic... :(

So, for now I have to replace it with a new one. Any suggestion?
Thnx.
The procedure works, the only issue i have is the nvme m2 disk. Today, I put old sata 2.5 hdd and disable m2 nvme disk in bios and yes, I was able to install Mojave.
So, I wonder if there is a possibility to install it on the nvme? For that purpose I have to use OC to boot also installer
I did disabled
- VT-x
- VT-D
- Fast Boot
- Wake on LAN
- Wake On USB
- Secure boot
Tried Video memory 64-512MB, no changes
In fact, with M2 SSD nvme disabled in BIOS, I managed to boot install with clover with the settings from https://github.com/jinmu333/HP_Probook_440_G6_EFI , just with the...
No worries, I added missing kext, and that partially resolved the situation. Now I am stuck with
I said partially because I am stuck with
"End random seed"
However, all this with my M2 SSD disabled, when I enable the SSD in Bios, the PC just restarts after starting the Opencore bootloader...
The same problem. Actually, if you look the Opencore log file in EFI it passes this stage and then show critical error on the next during bootup of the installer. You just have to add -v in the boot arguments to see it. However, no information why there is an critical error, maybe my opencore...
I finally figured out what causes the problem.
I have M.2 SSD drive that produces the following error:
lilu: (user) failed to change memory protection
and consequently kernel panic.
Disabling M2 SSD in BIOS allowed me to boot the installer, but as expected I don't see any drive in disk...

Is there a solution to the problem with restoring bootmgfw.efi and Windows 8.1? It is really strange, I have had Yosemite and Win 8.1 before, and today, I got my ssd and I decided to do fresh install of both systems; Currently whenever I boot windows, the file bootmgfw-orig.efi is renamed to...
I have hp4530s and I have tried to remove BTFirmwareUploader.kext for the 2nd time, and I experience the same problem as before. Webcam and USB ports are constantly switching on/off, putting back .kext solves this problem, but my computer crashes on every wakeup :eh: Any solution?
I had the same problem, and solved by running hp tool and installed all kext again. Does installation of BTfirmwareuploader.kext again cause reboots after sleep? In my case yes, laptop reboot quite often :banghead:
I don't even use BT, can I disable it totally?
