Hi, I'm also having trouble with my audio. Board is gigabyte h67m-d2-b3 rev 1.1 with ALC889 builtin sound card. I already tried the steps above but im still not getting any audio. Do I still need to select userdsdt when reinstalling applehda with multibeast?

having a problem installing my audio, i have a rev1.1 btw. under system profiler i only have an Intel High Definition Audio. i don't see my audio driver. followed this,for (rev 1.1) using dsdt , run multi beast check system utilities \alc8xx \apple hda rollback run reboot .
what else should i...
^^ copy that, i'll try it later when i get home. btw, how can i layout my keyboard to be like a mac keyboard? i just cancelled the keyboard wizard after installing.

finally, i have a working hack... thanks hacman for this thread. i bought myself a new 5770 card and everything just installed properly.
im currently on 10.6.7, im still trying to fix my audio. hope i can update to Lion after everything is working properly...

Finally!!! a working hackintosh that is based on Sandy Bridge CustoMac Build 1. for two weeks i tried to fix my hack and it is really frustrating because of my video card which is 6770. i finally got a 5770 card and my hack is finally working, yehey!!!
i'm currently at 10.6.7 and still testing...

hi guys, finally found a 5770 card (yehey!!!). sad part is i'm broke for buying the 5770, but at the same time very happy because i finally have a working hackintosh!!!

@hacman, we have the same specs except for the card. i got the 6770 which unfortunately is not supported. i'm having problems getting 5770, will it be ok if i get the 5570? will it affect my installation which is based on your build?
i hope your's will fix my hackintosh, it's been a week...
ok, followed everything. i have successfully upgraded my build to 10.6.8 and followed the settings on multibeast. booted fine but unfortunately, my wireless usb keyboard and mouse is not functioning and my usb drives is also not working.
any idea on how to fix this?

hi, i also followed the CustoMac build #1 specs except for the graphics card. there was no available 6670 that's why i bought the 6770 which is unfortunately not yet supported (my bad for not checking).
anyway, my steps for installing it are pretty much the same with yuji22 and Crawdad56...
