it says Name "Line IN" Type"Audio Line-in Port" in both condition with or without headphones plugged in. i.e. not change like it is changing in OUTPUT.
and in very rare case when headphones are plugged in the MIC input says "Built-in" and mic work through laptop casing mic.
External never work for me. i hope it does. for now i am talking about internal. If there is something about how to enable external mic that would be great also.
after installing latest codec commander of RehabMan RehabMan-CodecCommander-2017-0501. The sound is stable through headphone but the Mic is not working in either condition. i.e. neither with or without Headphone.. Help / suggestion ???
My Sound Input in SystemPreferences\Sound is always showing "Audio line-in port" and the laptop on board mic is not working. when i plugin a headphone it does change after 5-10 minutes from "Audio line-in port" to "built-in" but sound gets cranky and i have to reboot to get things normal.
help...
Ok i will delete it and hopefully not run into any problem as I dont have the laptop with me right now.
No i didn't add it. I did run a few kext to enable it in hope to get wifi enabled. it a surprise to me why it was there in first place.
OK. should we go deeper to resolve. if i get DWA1560 will this config.plist will create problems.... Is that impacting anything or for upgrade to 10.11.4...?
I am pretty sure I have an intel card and planning to replace it with DELL DW1560. But the system information is showing BCM4352 ac in my PCI devices...
