Thanks for the tip. I'll try to practice on some spare cables first thing tomorrow. The small cables makes it harder though especially the SATA cable. Wow that guy makes it look so easy.. Actually, I learnt to tip the soldering iron first before soldering. Gotta love the accent by the way...
