    [SUCCESS] Dimitris' Built: GA-B75M-D3V - i3-3225 (now i5-3570K) - Sapphire RX 560

I also have an update! Although I never solved the HD 4000 issue, I was able to pick up a dirt cheap GT 710 that works fine with Lilu/WhateverGreen.

    [SUCCESS] Dimitris' Built: GA-B75M-D3V - i3-3225 (now i5-3570K) - Sapphire RX 560

I made a Hackintosh for my mother-in-law with this board & a Core i3-3225 back when they were new parts. This build only started giving me trouble at Mojave, and now Catalina. I was able to get it running with 10.15.4 and 10.15.5, but the 10.15.5 Supplemental Update broke the integrated...

    ASUS LGA1155 HackPro

samisnake, What do you think about the the P8H67-V? It seems to be the only ASUS H67 board that fits the bill, feature-wise.

    ASUS LGA1155 HackPro

Cool, my first choice is the V-Pro since it adds HD 3000 to the mix. But I'll 'fallback' on one of the others - the Deluxe sounds like the smart choice, but yeah, the Maximus does look nice...

    ASUS LGA1155 HackPro

Perfect! A breakdown of the current offerings is just what I came here looking for. Do you foresee any issues with using a dedicated card with the P8Z68-V Pro? While I plan to use a Radeon HD 7770 and a GeForce GTX 560Ti, adding the option of Intel HD 3000 is a big plus. Also, other than the...

    ASUS LGA1155 HackPro

Hey samis, Thanks for replying so fast. I have carte blanche to build an all-ASUS rig, and since it's replacing a Hackintosh, I need to retain that functionality. If it where any other company than ASUS, I would just drop it. But I see ASUS boards have been growing in popularity over here, and...

    ASUS LGA1155 HackPro

Dear tonymac, macman, & crew: I currently have the HackPro in my profile, but need to upgrade to the 2500K or 2600K. The issue is it needs to be ASUS. I know, I know, Gigabyte is better for this, but nevertheless, it must be ASUS. What is your most recommended H67 or (preferably) Z68 ASUS mobo...

Lenovo G570 First Boot Trouble Grey Screen w/Cursor

This is an Office Depot special with the Pentium B960, 4 GBs RAM, Intel HD Graphics, and 320 GB HDD. I was originally looking for an AMD solution but wound up with this instead. After I bought it I figured I could give Hackintoshing it a try. I heard it was the Intel HD Graphics (Arrandale)...

Lenovo G570 First Boot Trouble Grey Screen w/Cursor

I just bought my girlfriend the Lenovo G570 with the Pentium B960 and Intel graphics. I'm using the UniBeast method and after installation I cannot get past a light grey screen and (functioning) cursor. Any ideas?

Help with new build for osx86 computer

Lnx2Mac, Cool, I'll try the GTX 260 tomorrow if I can find an hour or so to spare. Unfortunately, my 4870 most likely won't be on anyone's compatibility list because it's an ATI reference board, boo :( Thanks again, -Adam

Help with new build for osx86 computer

Lnx2Mac, First off, thanks for the reply. Sorry, it's actually a 4870, doh! I will update my siggy. Is the 4870 also a hassle? I have an EVGA GTX 260 in the house that I can try with tomorrow. Thanks again, -Adam

Help with new build for osx86 computer

ftmix, I also recently received my GA-P55-UD7 and have tried, unsuccessfully, to get OSX working. Did you ever get yours working? I've followed the guide to the letter and tried all 3 variants of iBoot with and without -x to no avail. No responses to my help requests either. :( Thanks, -Adam

    Gigabyte P55A-UD7 Hackintosh Success!

liquidmm & Tony: I also have the GA-P55A-UD7, but cannot get past the white Apple logo screen without a nasty kernel panic of one type or another. I've tried all 3 variants of iBoot with varying degrees of unsuccess. Which iBoot did you use? What BIOS version did you use for that matter? The...

    Install Trouble - kernel panic

OK, before going to bed for the night I decided to try the Nvidia version of iBoot since that's the only one that I haven't yet attempted. Same thing, no dice, here is the output though: VoodooHDPlease contact someone with a photo of the information printed below, along with a description of...

    Install Trouble - kernel panic

Hey TonyMac, MacMan, and gang, This is my first Hackintosh build and I cannot seem to get past the white Apple logo screen. I followed the guide to the letter: retail MacOSX Snow Leopard 10.6.3, set optimized defaults, ACHI, HPET 64-bit, CD-ROM boot 1st, HDD boot 2nd, Blue Gigabyte Sata ports...
