Thank you for this guide, Elite2k. I've been sitting on Mountain Lion on this Motherboard for a while now. I took the plunge today and am now running quite happily on Yosemite. My System Specs are: + Gigabyte Z68MA-D2H-B3 (BIOS U1B) + Intel Core i5-2400 @ 3.1GHz + ATI Radeon HD 5770 +...

    Need help with Hp Z800

Hi MrFlame99, Have you run MultiBeast? Running MultiBeast will allow you to boot from your hard drive. Without a DSDT you would choose EasyBeast. It installs all of the essentials to allow your system to boot from the hard drive. Some kexts are automatically installed to enable proper shut...

Re: Installed Win7 & cannot boot into Lion anymore When you use iBoot, do you see your Lion Partition? If you do, instead of putting in the Snow Leopard DVD, choose the Lion partition to boot into your OS. Then run MultiBeast again from within Lion and choose to install the Chameleon/Chimera...

    Problem with installation!

Hi ZelenjavaKorenje, Can you post any more info? Did it successfully boot into the OS after initial install, or is this what you get when it restarts after saying "Install Successful"? If you did boot into the OS after initial install, did you run MultiBeast before you shutdown/restarted? If...

    New to Hackintosh

Hi rockies1, I'm fairly new to the whole Hackintosh experience, too. However, I've found it to be pretty easy and a lot of fun. Of course most of the heavy lifting has been taken care of by the TonyMac team and there is plenty of support via seasoned users on this and various other forums and...

iBoot does not recognize my Snow Leopard DVD

You should have the grey apple on a light grey window. Give it some time (a few minutes). Eventually a screen will show up with a list of languages to choose from. When this happens, just follow the onscreen instructions to install. If after several minutes you do not get past the grey apple...
