Hello. I have a problem whith my sound kext. The type of my motherboard is GA-Z97X-UD5H and the sound card is ALC150. I installed the kext from multibeast, but the sound doesen't work. I testet a few kext from the internet, but nothing work realy (no sound but sound card is shown into settings). Can enyone help me? thanks a lot :)

:ch: Download the AppleHDA-1150-9-series.zip file to your Desktop and unzip. It has the updated AppleHDA.kext file.

:ch: Download Kext Utility in the Downloads library; it backs up the native AppleHDA.kext file.

:ch: Run Kext Utility (Note: the previously mention downloaded AppleHDA.kext file must be on the Desktop, and note the dialog as it's running).

:ch: Reboot

I cannot get audio working on my Z97X-UD5H and have tried the steps listed. any suggestions on what else I can try?

You must be under settings -> sound "headset" or select "headphone". then use the front connection to your pc and it should work :thumbup:

I'll just add that as of today, on 10.10.4 you still cannot use the rear green port. Use either the black one (labelled 'rear') and select second 'line out' in device list, or the headphone port (with headphones)
