hello, hello

my P9x79 pro work very well as lion with bios 1104. unibeast install without problems.

I just updated the bios, I am now in v2002 (CAP for Windows8 fullfunctionality)

this is unfortunately an update of bios you can not downgrade

Lion now no longer work and unibeast usb intall does not start and it freezes over (see picture)

-r-f-x-s not working

I am disgusted, just work so well before updating the bios.

Do you think there was a way to make an unibeast installation with this version of bios?

please help me

config:
i7 3820
p9x79 pro (bios 2002)
ati 5870
ssd ocz vertex 4

Thanks for the heads up! This could have saved me some headache. I will wait now with a BIOS update until this issue has been resolved. Unfortunately I do not have an answer to your problem.

I am still waiting to get a fix for non sleep / speed stepping. Electricity is expensive in Germany. I guess we will not see it working until Apple supports the Sandybridge-E CPUs which might never happen.

Same here. I updated to 2002 and now my OS X will only boot if i add the flag "cpus=1" which makes it run with one core :(. I hope there will be a way to rollback the bios.

Wow, I just made the same mistake on Thursday. I feel your pain. My config is almost identical to yours and I didn't >need< the new BIOS so it was listed as compatibility and performance enhancing so I did it anyway. Like you said, single core works but isn't pretty.

Hi, found the solution for my install. You need this... VoodooTSCSync.kext and everything worked again for me.

Fix permissions with Kext utility and rebuild cache and/or use the "ignore caches" option in Chameleon when booting up (-f option) the first time.
