Dell inspiron 3542 ( Help)

Hi everyone,

Im totally new and i want to turn my laptop to Hackintosh

MY Laptop Details :



System: Dell Inspiron 3542


CPU: Haswell ULT Intel Core i3-4005U/ BGA1168


Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4400 + NVIDIA GeForce 820M (resolution 1366*768)


Ram: 4 GB


BIOS: A05(14-11-20114)


Ethernet: RealTek RTL8101/2/3 Family Fast Ethernet NIC


Wlan: Atheros AR9565 Wireless Network Adapter


Audio Adapter: Intel Lynx Point-LP - High Definition Audio Controller [B2]

im using windows 8.1 with VMware (Yosemite) running properly

Im trying to install Yosemite with Clover

usb flash drive (32GB adata uv128)

1- downloaded Yosemite os from app store

2-created flash drive with 2 partitons fat(clover efi) and HFs (installer)

3-Run the Clover Installer package:
- select the target of the install to "CLOVER EFI" using "Change Install Location"
- select "Customize" (the default is a legacy install -- we need to change it)
- check "Install for UEFI booting only", "Install Clover in the ESP" will automatically select
- check "Bluemac" from Themes (the config.plist files I provide use this theme)
- check "OsxAptioFixDrv-64" from Drivers64UEFI c

5- added (HFSPlus.efi) file in EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI

6- deleted 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, 10.9, 10.10, in EFI/CLOVER/kexts/ except 'Other'

7-downloaded OS-X-FakeSMC-kozlezip and copy only FakeSMC to ''Other''
//////////////OS-X-Voodoo-PS2-Controlle.zip copy only VoodooPS2Controller file to ''other''
////////////////GenericUSBXHCI and copy it to ''others''
///////////////RealtekRTL8100.zip and copy only RealtekRTL8100 file to ''others''

8- config.plist

downloaded https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config config_HD4600_4400_4200.plist and changed it name to to config.plist

9- createinstallmedia method and is done in 30 min..

10- turned virtualization off and disabled secure boot

11- boot start clover the pressed spacebar then choose verbose mode

12-then this '' NVDA: disabled by nv_disable=1 boot-arg'' about 5min then start apple logo with no loading for more 30min

The nv_disable flag is already present in the config.plist.

I suspect you're not using a valid config.plist...

Post your EFI folder.

The config.plist is fine. Your Clover/kexts/Other is wrong. Read the guide carefully.

From where i can get Right kext.s ?? I did same as written in Guides

do i need dsdt/ssdt in this stage (boot) ? I just extract them a and this all, when i use them ?

I downloded them again and i cant fine. .Kext extesion there
FakeSMC.kext is missing and voodoops2controler and voodooHDA
can u check them ?

BUT THERE ARE NOT ETHERNET CARD DETECTED

MY CARD

The ethernet driver you need is linked by the guide.

Audio: Best result with patched AppleHDA. Google 'patch AppleHDA guide'. Search for suitable AppleHDA or patch it yourself. Apply appropriate DSDT patches.

how get internet through Ethernet ???

its not detected RTL8101/2/3
