USB WiFi is not recommended. The software is poor. Install a compatible half-mini PCIe instead.

You can use TimeMachine just like on real Mac.

Always keep your USB for recovery purposes.

You can configure 3-finger swipes in SysPrefs->Keyboard->Keyboard shortcuts.

Ralink is not supported. Compatible WiFi cards are detailed in the guide.

In SysPrefs->Keyboard->Keyboard shortcuts, pick the function you want to assign, then instead of pressing a key combination, do the (three finger) swipe.

The startup sound on Macs is done in the EFI firmware. To be done properly, it would have to be implemented in Clover. Not worth the trouble IMHO.

There is a solution for the chime in login screen. I tried and find the sound annoying.

It is annoying because at the login screen is the wrong time. Macs do it in the EFI firmware before OS X starts to load.

If there were UEFI services for audio, it would not be difficult to implement in Clover. But I don't know that UEFI services for audio exist or how consistently they might be implemented (if at all). Given the complexities of the HD audio spec, it would seem unlikely.
