Hoping somebody will be able to help out with this..

getting this repeatedly in console, only thing not installed is wifi as I'm waiting for my new card, is it related to that, or some other issue?

Thanks

(to add, only thing I have recently changed is AppleHDA kext patch method with clover (pike method)

This is likely related to your Ethernet driver. What version of AppleIntelE1000e.kext are you running? There are issues with the latest version. I'm using 2.4.14 on my desktop, not the latest...

I'm using 2.4.14 too, never see that in log. If you used PBI, the version is 2.5.4d. Find 2.4.14 and install it.

I must be using the latest, Ive certainly not replaced it manually..

version 2.5.4d

Code:

[FONT=Lucida Grande]  Version:[/FONT][FONT=Lucida Grande]    [/FONT][FONT=Lucida Grande]2.5.4[/FONT]

Could I grab a copy of the older version please?

*edit

I just used PBI to get patched AppleHDA back to borrow files from that.. must be where its happened..

PBI should not have 2.5.x as it is known to be buggy. 2.4.14 is better. Mieze has offered to adapt some of the code she has for RealtekRTL8111.kext and create her own version of AppleIntelE1000e.kext when she has the time. At that point, it will be worthwhile to adopt/test her version. Until then, we should be using 2.4.14.

PBI backup kexts has latest version, and latest version also in SLE, does that mean it did use the latest version in this case?

I used support kexts for 6x70b 8x70p

Seems to me that the PBI has had the wrong version from the moment it was added.

that links to 2.5.4d too, just installed it then realised lol

same error still present obviously

My mistake, try again.
