Mountain Lion problem with GTX 560 Ti

Hello,

very often I get a black screen if I try to boot ML. It's after the apple. Nothing more. But other times it works perfectly. I don't know what to do...

I have a GTX 560 Ti and my motherboard is a MSI H67MA-E35 (B3).

Anything in the logs? Maybe it isn't even graphics related...
 
No, there is nothing special. It must be the graphics. I switched my old graphic card back in (GT 430) and it's working on every boot (not only sometimes like with the GTX 560 Ti).

But I already send it back for a refund. So, I have a different question now. I used a MSI N560-GTX Twin Frozr II/OC. I want to try it again with a GTX 560 Ti but from a different manufacture. Which are known to work OOB?

I have an EVGA 560TI... Those have retail PCBs, Both DVI-ports work, HDMI works, HDMI-Audio works. For more details see my build guide below.

Hi everyone,

I am having the exact same issue.

So far, the only way I have found to have a 100% working login is to boot with Unibeast then to select the hard disk where Mountain Lion is installed and to use PCIRootUID=0.
 
HI, Do I need to do anything special to get MSI 560TI to work

pleas need help with setting up MultiBeast, cant get graphics card working

Hi Slowhand,

Did you check anything in the graphic part of multibeast?

Have you tried to boot with PCIRootUID=0?
 
I have EVGA GTX 560 Ti superclocked, and my card worked after i add following entry in /Extras/org.chameleon.Boot.plist
