I am interested in a monitor with G-Sync, but it will only work if I can get G-Sync functioning. I have a GTX 770 graphics card. Does anyone have any experience with this?

My understanding is that G-Sync is a hardware solution .. it is possible that enabling it in Windows would make it work under OS X unless OS X overrides it at boot ...I have a G-Sync compatible card but no G-Sync monitor to confirm this ..

I would buy a ASUS PG278Q with ONLY a G-Sync port. Will work on my hackintosh with last El Capitain?
