Gray Fuzzy Screen Before Login Screen

Hello Everyone,

I just built a hackintosh from the following parts using Unibeast 3.0.1 and Multibeast 6.0.0:
CPU: i5 4570S
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H
RAM: 8GB 1600MHz Crucial
Graphics: Integrated Intel HD4600
Drive: Seagate 1TB 7200RPM


For some reason, there is a very weird gray fuzzy screen that persists anywhere from 1 second to 15 seconds on the entire monitor before the login/password screen appears. Afterwards, I see nothing wrong with graphics being displayed.



Here is my org.chameleon.Boot.plist:

What is going on? After I login, I don't notice anything wrong display wise, but I wonder if something is wrong with my setup.

I have the same problem but I am using a gigabyte ud3h and I am connecting to my monitor with hdmi.

I guess the problem went away. Im not sure how and why but it is gone! woo.

SOLVED IT

i added this

if that doesnt work for u just play around with different values (make sure u search tonymacx site for IGPlatformID values that goes with the hd4600

I used to have this problem with my one monitor setup. Adding that line to my plist file fixed it. Now, I have a dual monitor setup. The main display doesn't have the fuzz, but now the second monitor does. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Fixed by tinkering in the bios of my GA-H87M-HD3. Forgot what I did exactly... oh well. Now onto my other hackintosh problems...
