Hi!
First sorry about my English... I`ve the same mobo an all works fine except USB 3.0. When connect external hd the system freeze. I have installed the generic USB controller.

Thanks.

Mine did the exact same thing. Make sure you install the USB 3.0 Universal from Multibeast with nothing but your keyboard plugged in. After your done, reset your comp and see if that fixed it. If that doesn't fix it you may have to delete the Generic USB that you installed.

@ Klaner

How do you have your monitor, keyboard, and mouse hooked up? Also did you re-flash your bios to f4? Also, did you check to see if your PSU is hasswell compatible? It sounds like when you initially tried to install with graphics card plugged in it messed something up on your motherboard. I would re-flash and follow my guide without your graphics card and pay very close attention to the bios settings. Once you have everything installed I would then try to figure out how to install the graphics card.

Note:
Bluetooth keyboards and mice can mess with the install.
If your monitor is hooked up using DVI or VGA it can also mess with the install. HDMI is the safest and recommended way. Once you get everything up and running DVI works fine.

@brenmcrae

First thank you for always responding, and second, I have my keyboard and mouse plugged into usb 2.0, my PSU does have haswell compatibility, and I do have f4 on my mobo. so per your suggestion i removed my graphics card, reset my mobo to default and followed the instructions, again -v gave an error so I added nv_disable=1 and it made it to the install, I re partitioned my drive and began the install. Just like before I am given the error about Essentials.pkg.

any other ideas?

So when I did mine I got the same essential.pkg error, and ran again and it worked.. I would try redoing your usb drive, or trying another one to see if you can get pass that error.

I don't have that problem on mine. Does it go away after a few seconds? How is your monitor hooked, hdmi etc? Try turning your monitor off and then turn it back on to see if that fixes it.
Yes it go away after few seconds. My monitor is hooked via HDMI. I did what you suggested me without chance :(

Congrats on the build. I have nearly the exact same system except my ram is a different brand. I followed your guide to the letter. Got an essentials.pkg error, but fixed that. Went through install did multibeast, and now after rebooting it is stuck on the apple loading screen. The bar gets about half way and then nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi!!! Congratulations for your new machine. I have a question about motherboard. The wifi & bluetooth integrated are working??? i want use the bluetooth mouse and i need to know this.
