Then can i try to remove GenericUSBXCHI.kext and apply your patch? How can i move to AppleUSBXCHI? Where can i find it?

If you remove GenericUSBXHCI.kext, the system will use AppleUSBXHCI.kext. It is already installed by the OS X installer.

I have some doubt:
-in my /Extension i have GenericUSBXHCI.kext and i haven't AppleUSBXHCI.kext.
-now i've removed GenericUSBXHCI but after reboot i've checked the ioreg and i've seen that GenericUSBXCHI is present
-i've also seen that in my efi/clover/kexts/others i have the following kext:
1)GenericUSBXCHI.kext
2)FakeSMC.kext
3)RealtekRTL8100.kext
4)VoodooPS2Controller.kext
(i remember that those must be insert at the first installation...but they must be there now?can i move them to /Extensions?)

must i remove the GenericUSBXHCI.kext also from there? thanks

Remove GenericUSBXHCI.kext. AppleUSBXHCI is in /S/L/E/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns.

Remove it. Make sure you rebuild cache.

Ok now it seems to work...i've applied the patch and tried the sleep and it's working good...thanks...as for the other kext in clover folder, must they be there?

It depends on how you've decided to configure your system...

Can you explain me this?

PS: i've just seen that my usb 2.0 are fully working but my usb 3.0 isn't. I've plugged two kind of usb pen in all three port, and they work only with usb 2.0 port. I've also tried to plug an usb mouse and it work in every port...i'm confused

Kext injection is required for booting the installer and recovery partition. If you have InjectKexts=Detect, Clover will inject for your main install if it does not find FakeSMC installed there.

You should read the Clover wiki: http://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Home

You should look at ioreg to see what driver the devices are connecting to and to verify that AppleUSBXHCI is loading.

AppleUSBXHCI doesn't work for all laptops (it is designed for Apple laptops).... Some require further DSDT patches to work correctly.

What are you confused about?

This is my situation without nothing plugged...as you can see AppleUSBXHCI is loaded:

When i plug the two usb pen this is the situation (they appear under EHC2>AppleUSBEHCI and are the ones named "DataTraveler2.0" and "UsbMassStorageDevice":
Schermata 2015-01-12 alle 17.06.44.png
If i try to plug them into the usb 3.0 port, nothing happened. If i try to plug the usb mouse at the usb 3.0 port, this is the situation:

Then we know that 1)all usb pens are working 2)all usb ports are working (but the usb 3.0 port don't read the usb mass storage devices)

It seems that the problem then is from AppleUSBXHCI...i'm confused about this:
1)GenericUSBXHCI has problem with Yosemite then is better to erase it and use AppleUSBXHCI
2)AppleUSBXHCI is not working with all computers.

Then what's the solution? Now what i'd like to do is to replace the last working dsdt without the patch and reinstall GenericUSBXHCI and test if all the usb were working...after that i'd like to do a comparison of the speed between the two solution.

There may not be a solution that works 100% (such is hackintosh).

You should see if the "7-series USB3 Multiplex" patch (from my repo) can help.

Also, it does not appear you're testing with any USB3 devices?

I've made a "rollback" of my dsdt and i've reinstalled GenericUSBXHCI.kext. Now everything works (all usb ports are fully working), but i continue to see that they work slowly (1,2MB from desktop to usb pen in 1'18'')...now i'll try if with the "multiplex" patch it will work...i'm testing with usb 2.0 devices, but the speed is too slow also for it!!!
