Mavericks: No Audio - Realtek ALC AppleHDA [Guide]

Status
Not open for further replies.
when I plug different stereo headsets I always get the same result : pour quality sound with BOTH channels on BOTH sides ! no stereo ...
If I disable one channel, quality is good but I have the same sound on both sides ...
Not sure what Intel did, most difficult codec ever. Stuck with non OS X friendly pinconfigs.
Regarding headphones, try a sleep then wake; stereo sound after wake.

compiler error fixes:
Code:

Thank you very very much toleda, your tips helped me to reinvigorate my aged machine!

The startup problems and audio problems are disappeared by adding the correct dsdt.

Reinstalled the 10.9.5 Combo update?
MultiBeast or audio_realtek-90_v2 script, not both.
AppleHDA.kext is now correct.
No codec; is BIOS/HD Audio enabled?
No audio until codec appears in DPCIManager/Status/Codec ID.

MultiBeast or audio_realtek-90_v2 script, not both.
