Thanks for all the help

1) Hd4600: I fix the glitches by changing resolution, but when I reboot`s the computer it does the same error. I will try the things that you recomend me and I will post results.

Try setting the resolution of the bootloader to match your native resolution.

2) About the mach_kernel re-pached. What should I do?? I used both perl patches for 10.9.x that you post here, and I get "incorrect image signature" after making the updates to 10.9.2 or 10.9.5. Wich are the corrects steps for re-paching? I did it right for the 10.9.0 installation, by replacing the "Maveriks OS X" mach_kernel from the unibeast (USB Install) that I originaly pached by following your guide here.

You will have to first obtain a copy of the new mach_kernel. Then copy it after patching. I believe you can use the perl patches in Linux, which might be helpful when you don't have a second computer running OS X. You could also do the patches from another (working) partition. You could also make a new USB using Unibeast with the latest release, then patch that mach_kernel, so you can copy it to the HDD from within the OS X installer using Terminal (just as you did when you first installed).

That's what I mean by "be prepared." There are many ways to do it, but you should realize that after doing the upgrade, you will not be able to boot the upgraded partition until you get the new mach_kernel patched.

This hassle is one of the many reasons I would suggest moving to Clover UEFI.

I just installed 10.9.5 on Zbook 14 (Clover), everything works fine except sleep,
screen does not turn on after sleep.
Any suggestions?

Thanks :)
d.

System: manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

No, I'm saying that is usually the cause of not having a valid install.

With your Unibeast USB plugged in, what is the output of:
Code:
# in Terminal, assuming USB is called Installer
ls -lR /Volumes/Installer/System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelFramebufferAzul.kext

Read post #555 carefully. Re-iterating what you already said and ignoring my question/requests will not help.

Please read carefully, specifically "in your profile"...

Make sure you patched the new kernel on your HDD and checked the md5 sum against the values provided in post #1. You should boot verbose to troubleshoot.

Hi,

I'm sorry my question is maybe in the wrong thread, but is your last fix relevant for Yosemite public release kernel ?

Thanks in advance !
