Hi Toleda,
i finished a fresh install on a GA-X79s UP5 + 3930K for 10.9.5 with multibeast 6.5.
The Audio doesn't works. i checked ALC898 on mB.
what do you think ?

Thanks,
Sam

OK. I solved the problem eventually by installing the ALC898 from Multibeast 6.2. Now it is working flawless. Maybe the new way of handling the ApplHDA and HDAEnable needs some bug fixing...
If you need any more information about my setup to recreate the error, feel free to ask!

Yeah it's working!

Description of audio problem
After updating to 10.9.5 and installing the latest AppleHDA driver using Multibeast 6.5, I get no output devices found. I was previously using 10.9.2. As I recall, the AppleHDA driver from Multibeast for that version also did not work and I ended up using a previous version (which I have not been able to get to work any longer).

The problem appears to be with the layout-id which is set to 00 00 00 00 even though the org.chameleon.Boot.plist has
Code:
        <key>HDAEnabler</key>
        <string>Yes</string>
        <key>HDEFLayoutID</key>
        <string>01000000</string>

I appreciate any assistance!

what do you mean "Need a codec"?

I have selected the ACL892 on MultiBeast...

I plugged in my speakers correctly but the system show that there is no audio output device found.
I have read the guide Mavericks : No Audio - Realtek ALC AppleHDA.
I am using AppleHDA Version 2.6.3
For the DCPI Screenshot , the audio codec name and id is empty , but it is taken before I reset my codec, now i have the correct codec name and id
but now I checked that my layout id is 00000000 and i should install 01000000 to it . I knew that I need to change the dsdt file (I originally dont have it in the Extra Folder I just extract it using MaciASL) , but there is errors in the dsdt originally and i cannot save it after patching the layout 01 . Now my id is still 00000000 and i think this is the problem that there is no audio device found.
Hope there will be a solution . Many Thanks !

I've just updated to Maverics 10.9.5 and resulted in no audio.

Used MultiBeast 6.5 and added ALC898 as samtimbaud stated and it worked for me.

Thanks

OOPS. Wrote too soon. Still no audio after sleep.

The problem appears to be with the layout-id which is set to 00 00 00 00
Documentation of the problem is excellent.
Why ocB.plist/PCIRootUID=1
Can you boot without the flag If yes attach IOReg.

Attach a DPCIManager screenshot with the codec showing and a new IOReg.

I cannot boot without the flag (just tested again). Without the flag, it hangs on a grey screen after the Apple logo and prior to the login screen.
