New Mac Pro About This Mac Spotted

The black color kills the MAC feeling and I think it's ugly as hell. The fact that the outer shell is plastic is also not by Apple standard. The only reason I want a newer Macbook or Mac pro is the aluminum shell. Steve Jobs would not have approved the plastic outer shell. I feel that Apple will not come up with anything "new" after this.

Plastic?, I don't think so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbWOQWw1wkM&noredirect=1

I think they made the right choice with the current version. My personal choice would be
a matte black finish instead of the shiny reflective space gray of the current Mac Pro.
Maybe someday they will offer it in black, white, and brushed aluminum interchangeable
coverings. For that kind of $$ why not? They do it for the iPhone nowadays. When this
6,1 version falls out of favor 8 or 10 years from now modders will be doing some really
interesting things with the current Mac Pro cases.

When you see how small it really is in the unboxing video and to know how much power is inside that little enclosure, I must say that's pretty awesome. Now I just need around $8,000-$9,000 to buy the one I'd want lol

Hopefully big developments for socket 2011 are coming!!

Sorry. Looks kinda nasty! My bathroom comes to mind... I really liked the g5. Unfortunately a casemod is no Option. Already got a lianli case

I like the looks of new Mac Pro.
When is Apple going to offer black or grey as options for keyboards mice and cables.
White chiclets for keys look stupid especially with new Mac Pro.
Art deco black and white was passé along time ago.
A black chrome mouse and keyboard would be nice or powder coating maybe even porcelain.

If I understand the policy of this site correctly, we have to wait until the updates in this custom 13a4023 build of Mavericks get rolled into a mainline OS X update, maybe 10.9.2. Is that correct?

My new Hakingtosh Pro iCore 7 4930K 6.1 with OSX 10.9.2

I think there is no need of more than 1 TB. For the rest of storage it is advisable a NAS with RAID1 or similar, to garantee data preservation.
