Did you attach the included wifi/Bluetooth card to the mainboard? If so detach and try again. In BIOS disable the internal FireWire...did you follow nod tips for bios settings? (disable eist etc?)
In which PCI E slot did you insert your graphic card?

My BIOS settings:
Extreme Memory Profile(X.M.P.) - "Profile 1" - my ram running 1600MHz
EIST - Disable
I try 3 BIOS version (F3, F4u, F4w). The result is same.

First time I not installed WiFi/BT card. I used PCIEx16_1 slot my video card (if use this slot, I don't put WiFi/BT card in the motherboard).
Next time I put WiFi/BT card in the motherboard and use video card in the PCIEx16_2 slot. The result is same.

I tried enable or disable FireWire. The result is same. :(

....if you can, try to use another HD instead of the SSD, and try to move graphic card into the 2nd PCIe slot...Try to use a different USB stick if you have. Disable internal firewire and don't put the included wifi/bluetooth card..try to add PCIRootUID=0 or =1....i hope this will help you because i cannot imagine what cause this problem to your conf

Hi koxproject,

I am no expert, but this board has given me all my days.

If i understand correctly, you are using trying to install OSX from a Thumbdrive?
You are able to boot from the drive but it blanks out right before you see the Setup screen?

Edit*****
Which USB Port are you using? Front or Rear? USB2.0 or USB3.0?
In boot menu, do you select the legacy or UEFI version to boot up thumb drive?
Which Port are you using on your GPU?
In which PCI slot is your GPU?
Is your WIFI/BT module attached? if attached which port?
Which BIOS version are your running?

Yes, I tried installing OSX from a Thumbdrive (Sandisk Cruzer Edge 16 Gb). ( I tried another USB drive, HDD, SSD)

I used Rear USB2.0.
I tried legacy and UEFI version also.
I used DVI-1 port with DVI-VGA Converter.
I used GPU in PCIEx16_1, but tried PCIEx16_2, PCIEx8.
Now not use Wifi/BT card, but tried earlier.
I tried BIOS F3, F3a, F4u, F4w. Now use F3.

If I use these flags ( -v -x GraphicsEnabler=No npci=0x3000 cpus=1 ), then result always same. The config freeze, after this screenshot.

I not understand what's the problem. I follow step by step Dingleberry's method.

You're use similar config. Please write your BIOS settings and installing method! I would be grateful!
Thnx!

koxproject, What version of OS X are you trying to install; e.g., Snow Leopard, Lion or Mountain Lion? If Mountain Lion, what update? The current Mountain Lion is 10.8.4. How did you download? Lastly, are you using the tonymacx86? UniBeast Installation Guide?

Hi koxproject,

Stork has posted some valid questions, if you dont mind answering those as well.

Your issues sound like they are related to your Graphics Card according to my experience.

I seem to have misplaced my notes, but will look for them tonight, and also make a list of some of my Bios config settings.

I quote Gaart...Two days ago I had the same problems as koxproject with my new Rig (Gigabyte x79 up5 wi-fi + I7 3930k) while trying to get to the installer for the first time...I removed my Geforce Gtx 660 for a Gtx 650 and immediately I could reach the installation stage and finish tha process...Now I'm writing from my new hack thanks to Nodnarb's precious guide...
