In OS X, only Blizzard games. Everything else is through Windows. I have tried Cider games and although they look nice, the performance gap is unbearable. :p

Used to play WoW and Starcraft 2 nightly on my Hackintosh but not lately.

I use my hackintosh to create music in first place. But i also like to play games so here a little screenshot for those who are interested.
All Games are on one External 1TB HD. Games are working great with thanks to Wine (wineskin)

cheers

I have a Mac Pro 2006 model and also two Hackintoshes. Trying to install Winoze 7 on a 2006 Mac Pro is an utter pain in the back side so I have installed it on both my Hacks so they can dual boot into Windoze for playing games. The truth is though that I really do not like any non Unix-like operating system and just can't be bothered with Windoze. Due to more games being available for Windoze did have an adverse effect on the amount of time I played games until I discovered WineSkin. If you don't have it already get it. It's the best implementation of wine that I have found for OSX and it is so user friendly. I use it to play Assasins Creed, Guild Wars, Dawn of War ( all of them ), Tomb Raider and many others all on OSX. Best of all you can exit them instantly using Apple & Q. This is handy when I'm supposed to be working and my wife comes in to check on me. I work from a studio in my house as a CGI Artist and gaming is better than spacing out ( although I do some of that too ).

Since we all have such powerful CPUs/Graphics, I figured I'd ask the question- do you game on your Hackintosh? Why or why not?

When mines built mid September mainly being used as a DAW Ill most likely be doing some gaming, if 80's arcade style games are available like the one above for sure (even if they dont demand that much from a graphics card). Also a third person shooter would be sweet (like a 21st century Duke Nukem).

Something feels weird about gaming in OS X though. Like it's not what it was designed for..
