Great tools, but unfortunately this doesn't work on B75M-D3P. The graphics is detected as HD2500, and the monitor spdisplays_display.

If I use an EFI-string I get HD4000 and my U2414M monitor in Safe mode, but white screen when booting regular:

How much RAM did you allocate to the HD4000 in your BIOS? On my B75M-D3V, Chimera's injection is all I need for HD4000 to work. EFI-string not needed.

Hi,

I have just completed my 1st build. I made my boot USB on a friends iMac running 10.6.6 and my 10.8.2 installation went fine and all is working well. I used the basic multi beast settings, ticked UserDSDT or DSDT- Free/ALC898 without DSDT/hnak's AppleIntelE1000e. Even my old I-sight firewire camera is working with microphone enabled and sound output to my amp from the green port on the mobo.

The only problem I keep having including after re-installing is that if I re-start the machine at the logon screen after boot the display goes crazy with 5 distorted images across the screen, luckily I know the OS pretty well (not a huge difference to 10.5 IMO) and with some time spent I can get into cyst prefs/displays and re-set the resolution to 1280 x 1024 @ 60 Hz - it's an old display (will be replaced with a 27" WQHD display port one soon) running from the DVI port. There are posts on here about editing text strings but I'm not too sure where I would find them, the machine is fine waking from sleep. Also if I get a monitor that runs from the display port connector will it be okay as I would rather leave it for a while than mess it up.

Thanks in advance,
Iain

Have you tried:
Code:
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1280x1024x32</string>
in /Extra/org.chameleon.boot.plist. Replace 1280x1024x32 with your monitors resolution.

Actually .. it didn't work ... So ... I got pissed off and did downgrade to 10.8.0 !!!

Repair Disk Permissions won't rebuild your kernelcache. To do that just sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions in terminal.

Hello.

HELP

Hi guys

I have GA-B75M-D3H + 3570K, I had to reconnect the hdmi every boot to fix my screen, but I fixed it by adding the resolution to org.chameleon...

But now I'm having another issue, every time the system boots, the HD 4000 behaves differently, sometimes it boots with hardware acceleration, sometimes it does not.

I don't know why it is different every boot.

Thanks

Edit

I think I fixed it, added UseKernelCache=No to .plist

Hi! I`ve got the same config and problem as you :) How long does your system boots with UseKernelCache=No ? When I fist install Mac OS X on my hackintosh, my system boots for a few seconds on ssd, but after several reboots it`s start booting over 40-60 seconds. Doesn`t meter UseKernelCache yes (graphics lags) or no. I try new install on format drive but still no result :( Can you post your full org.chameleon ?

Dosen't helped for me :( try used this trick and after that usekernekcache=yes with no luck. Systems boots for about 40-60 seconds on ssd :(

Hi,

just did my first build on a GA-B75M-D3P with Core i5-3570K and 8GB of RAM.
Because I'm a complete newby, I did it strictly according to this http://tonymacx86.blogspot.de/2011/10/unibeast-install-mac-os-x-lion-using.html instruction.
Everything worked 'out-of-the-box' but I experienced the same Problem with a dizzy display after reboot (which could be fixed by unplugging / plugging).

The additional lines

<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1920x1080x32</string>

in org.chameleon.boot.plist did the trick for me

Thanks :)

That's great! Is it fully recognised as HD4000?

Tried 32/64/96 no difference. Is yours also the non-K 3570?

My B75M build is a 3770. Details in my sig. My BIOS is set to 64MB. GE=Yes. HD4000 works fine.

I did my installation with HD4000 only, LCD connected to DVI. After that I put in my GT640 and changed GE=No to accommodate the GPU.

Hello everyone!

It 'possible that my HD4000 only works at 1080p?

I can not change the resolution!

My components are:

P8H77-M LE
I3 3225
8 GB ram 1600
Ocz SSD 60 GB

thanks
