Errors, issues and help thread

It's come to my attention that the sub forum has several pages of topics of errors and issues even some random completely off topic things.
We used to use the installer topic to ask questions, post about issues and other general discussions but every time I've posted on the installer topic it's been ignored so thought maybe it's a good idea to start a help thread instead of having hundreds of topics in the next year and just keep very specific issues like "boot 0 error" on the sub forum main page.

The latest installer by TeeZee failed, I deleted the boot file and restarted the installer which solved this problem on previous versions but it failed again.

I have tried posting the output from console but the code feature has gone and it's too many characters

Hoping this is enough to shine some light on the issue?

Maybe try without your DSDT first?
I've got kp when i put my dsdt into extra and reboot, but it was with IntelACPIPowerMonitor if i remember correct.

I just had mountain lion installed successfully on my 4530s. The only problem that make me headache is the DVD Drive isn't detected , it always shows as unknown, but when i put a disc into the drive, and reboot, it works again. That means the DVD Drive won't works, if there isn't any disc in the drive at boot. Any help would be appreciated

And my USB 3.0 doesn't work properly too. When i plug in my external HDD, it appears under USB super-speed section but the drive doesn't mount.
